Lukos Engineering provides Volkswagen ECU remapping and dyno calibration for petrol and diesel vehicles. We work with road cars, performance builds and commercial vehicles, tailoring the calibration to the engine, transmission, existing modifications and the way the vehicle is driven.

ECU remapping and dyno calibration

Volkswagen tuning requires an assessment of both the available ECU functions and the limits of the complete vehicle. We consider fuel quality, cooling, airflow and drivetrain condition when deciding the scope of calibration. A standard daily driver and a car fitted with supporting hardware will therefore have different requirements, even within the same model range.

During development, we review response at part throttle and under load alongside the measured power and torque curves. Where transmission calibration forms part of the work, changes are matched to the agreed engine calibration and driving requirements. This allows the work to focus on usable delivery and consistent operation, with the final settings validated against the vehicle's measured behaviour.
