Mercedes-Benz Tuning ECU Remapping and Dyno Calibration

At Lukos Engineering, we offer Mercedes-Benz tuning, ECU remapping and custom dyno calibration for petrol and diesel vehicles. Our work covers road cars, SUVs and performance applications, with calibration decisions based on the vehicle's engine, transmission, specification and operating condition.

The priorities for a diesel touring car can differ considerably from those of a modified AMG. We establish the intended use and assess the existing setup before defining the work. The objective is a calibration that delivers useful performance while preserving the progressive response expected from the vehicle.

Why choose Lukos Engineering

Our approach combines diagnostics, live data analysis and testing on our in-house eddy-current hub dyno. We assess how the engine delivers torque under load and how it responds to driver demand. This gives us a measured basis for refining performance while keeping everyday drivability central to the work.

ECU remapping and dyno calibration

Depending on the application, Mercedes-Benz ECU remapping can include torque requests, fuel delivery, boost control and ignition timing. On a diesel vehicle, we pay particular attention to the relationship between air supply, fuelling and torque delivery. On a petrol performance model, fuel quality and operating temperatures form part of the calibration assessment.

For modified vehicles, we evaluate intake, cooling and exhaust changes before refining the calibration. Dyno testing helps us examine the resulting delivery through the rev range, including the areas used during ordinary driving. Transmission tuning, where supported, can be considered with engine tuning so that torque management and gearbox behaviour suit the vehicle's specification and use.

Mercedes-Benz tuning in the UK

Mercedes-Benz tuning support depends on the exact model, year, engine, ECU and transmission controller. The scope of calibration and expected results are established from the vehicle's specification, fuel and mechanical condition.
